Service Witness
“Which of these three, do you think, was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” Jesus said to him,
“Go And Do Likewise.”
As God calls us to show mercy to our neighbor, First Presbyterian Church gives back to its community. Through our annual Service Day, Angel Tree, and Habitat for Humanity, the congregation finds hands-on ways to help others. Through our Service Witness Committee, we support ministries that are local (like Help and Hope and the Community School), ministries of our state (like our Presbytery missions and the Vera Lloyd Home) and ministries around the world (like Heifer International and Habitat for Humanity). We invite you to come and find your way to follow Jesus’ command to “Go and Do Likewise”!
